About Samhain
Samhain (pronounced sow-in) is an ancient Celtic festival that marks the end of harvest and the beginning of winter. Traditionally, it’s a time for storytelling, remembrance, and celebration — a chance to gather as a community and honor the turning of seasons. It is also the forerunner to today’s Hallowe’en as Samhain was the time when the spirit world intersected with the real world.
